Frequently asked questions

Onira is a dream journal app where you type or speak your dream, get a psychology-informed reflection and a scene-by-scene picture of it, and see recurring symbols build up in your journal. It is made for iOS and Android and works in Turkish and English.

You type or speak your dream. Onira reads your feeling and context to prepare a reflection, turns the dream into a sequence of three or four frames and saves it to your journal. Over time, recurring symbols gather on the Insights screen.

No. A dream dictionary ties each symbol to one fixed meaning. Onira reads your dream with your own feelings and the context of your life at that moment, through a psychology-informed lens. What you get is not a verdict but your own story.

The reflection comes from your dream text, the context answers you choose (feeling, sleep quality, how you woke, your short note) and a psychology-informed approach. The only place Onira speaks with certainty is your inner world; it passes no verdict on outside events, other people's intentions, your health or money.

A scene sequence is a three or four frame visual telling that follows how your dream unfolds. Figures have no faces and the style stays the same across frames. One dream counts as one image credit; the number of frames does not change the credit.

Go deeper means tapping one of the ready questions at the end of a reflection to look at the same dream again. Each question gives a single extra reading of a paragraph or two. It is not a chat.

Recording dreams is always free and unlimited. The full reflection and scene sequence of your first dream is a gift. Premium widens your reflections, scene sequences and Go deeper allowance; plans are listed on the pricing page.

Globally it is $4.99 weekly, $9.99 monthly and $49.99 yearly. The yearly plan works out to about $0.96 a week. There is no free trial; the free plan is always open.

Cancel from the account settings of your App Store or Google Play account. Cancel before the period ends, because the subscription renews automatically. Step-by-step instructions are on the support page.

Your dreams are stored against your account on a server in the European Union (Frankfurt). Your dream goes to the AI services for the reflection and the images only after you allow it. Details are in the privacy policy.

No. A dream you speak is turned into text; the recording itself is not kept.

You can delete your account and all your data from the app any time. If you want, export your dreams as PDF or TXT first. The steps are in the account and data deletion section of the support page.

No. The reflection is a symbolic reading, not a prediction. Take what fits and leave what does not. That is why every reflection puts your own feeling at the centre.
